Introduction
This personal data protection charter informs you of TYSCO's commitments when personal information about you is collected via its corporate website, and how TYSCO uses it. It applies solely to TYSCO websites and/or companies controlled by TYSCO (collectively TYSCO) that link to this text. It does not apply to TYSCO websites that publish their own privacy policy.
Personal data that may be collected via our websites
You may visit TYSCO websites without needing to provide any personal data about yourself.
However, to access certain services available on the sites — such as downloading certain documents or forms, or to receive information, subscribe to a newsletter, or in the context of another specific use — TYSCO may ask you for personal data. Providing personal data in this context is voluntary. If you choose not to provide it, you will simply be unable to benefit from the services available on the TYSCO site.
TYSCO may supplement this charter with additional information specific to a particular interaction with you.
The personal data collected on TYSCO websites includes:
- To contact us via the site: personal information such as your name, address, email address, job title or telephone number;
- To submit a job application: personal information such as your name, email address, CV or cover letter;
- To register on our site: personal information such as your name and professional contact details, as well as other information relating to your request that may be collected via specific forms;
- To access our online services: personal information such as your name, telephone number, email address, as well as other information relating to your request collected via specific forms.
The personal data requested may be either optional or mandatory.
How your personal data is used
TYSCO only processes your personal data where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract, is in TYSCO's legitimate interest, or where you have given your express consent.
Your personal data is used to:
- Communicate: respond to your enquiries, reply to your comments, send you documentation requested by email.
- Recruit: use your CV or online application for recruitment purposes, which may involve contacting you by email, telephone or post.
- Register: to receive our publications or newsletters or download them from our site. Certain data may be requested via specific forms in connection with a particular event. If the event is covered with partners, the information you provide may be collected by or shared with that third party.
- Online services: to allow customers of our financing activity to access online claims declaration services in respect of equipment leased by TYSCO.
Non-personal information collected automatically
TYSCO is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of the identity of visitors to its website. TYSCO may provide aggregate statistics about site visitors, data analysing their profile and other site-related information to third parties. These statistics do not in any way include information that would allow individuals to be identified.
Visitor identification
TYSCO uses cookies and other trackers on its websites. To learn more about their use and to configure them, please see our cookie policy.
Minors
No information may be provided to TYSCO by persons under the age of 16 without the prior consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Security
TYSCO has implemented the necessary technical and organisational measures to prevent any unauthorised access, misuse, disclosure, unauthorised modification, unlawful destruction or accidental loss of your personal data.
However, providing personal data (whether directly on the site, by phone or via the internet) is never without risk, and electronic communication systems cannot be fully protected against sabotage or hacking. The internet is an open, unsecured system and TYSCO cannot be held responsible for the security of personal data transmissions.
Retention period for personal data
TYSCO retains your personal data only to the extent necessary for the purpose of the processing implemented, taking into account the need to respond to questions or resolve difficulties, improve or offer new services and comply with its legal obligations in this area. This means that TYSCO may retain your personal data for a reasonable period after the end of the processing, in compliance with the legal and regulatory obligations applicable to TYSCO and sufficient for the resolution of disputes, and the exercise or defence of TYSCO's rights.
When the personal data we collect is no longer necessary, TYSCO destroys or erases it securely.
Who your personal data is disclosed to
Your personal data collected via the website is intended solely for use by TYSCO and used only to the extent necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this charter.
TYSCO does not sell or communicate your personal data to third parties in any way.
How to exercise your rights
You have the right at any time to access your personal data. You also have the right to request rectification and erasure, the right to restrict and object to processing, and the right to data portability under the conditions provided for by applicable regulations.
If you have questions about the privacy charter or wish to exercise your rights, please contact us at: infos@tysco.co. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), the supervisory authority responsible for compliance with personal data obligations.
